Here I will define some terms and some of the basics of posting in this forum.

Terms.
The "forum" is the overall idea or subject of conversation. - this is the first screen you see when signing in.

After selecting the forum you are brough to the "Topic" screen which is a breakdown of the forum into more specific topics.

Click on a topic and it brings you into the "thread" which is where we can discuss in detail the given topic.

Making a Topic/Thread "Sticky" keeps that Topic/Thread at the top of the screen. - This is useful to keep something important easy to find as old Topics/Threads move down the list if they aren't very active.

Topics/Threads can be "Locked" as well which means they cannot be replied to.


The Basics

Only an administrator can create a new Forum.

Moderators can edit others posts, make something sticky, or lock/unlock a given thread.
-Can also merge 2 Threads together if they are multiple threads about the same thing.

Any usergroup member can create a new topic by selecting the "Post New" button while on the Topics screen.

Any usergroup member can Reply to any topic in the thread by first selecting the topic and then clicking on "Post Reply"

While looking at a thread if you click "Post New" it creates a new Topic - so be sure to click "Post Reply" to reply to a thread(discussion)
